After two weeks in a row of attending two fantastic proms, but getting very little sleep, could Tristan really be up for a third? Yes, he was! He had met Marissa on our cruise during Spring Break (a post on that soon to come!), and they became good friends. Marissa is also a senior, and she has a soccer scholarship to college. Much of the time Tristan and Marissa were together on the cruise was spent playing soccer.

About a month after we returned home, Marissa called Tristan to invite him to prom. Apparently when her mom asked what she wanted for her birthday, she said she wanted to fly Tristan out to Chicago for her prom. So she did!

And they're off!
They had a nice dinner, a fantastic time at the dance, and enjoyed the after-party put on by the school too. Before Tristan left for home early the next morning (after no sleep at all), he even gave Marissa a Book of Mormon. It was a weekend to remember! Now, can we get that boy some rest?! Maybe that will have to wait until after he graduates...
